I lost my iPhone11 in MX. I’m back in US, hv new iPhone13 up/running, put old phone in lost mode. But I’m getting conflicting advice on next steps. Should I erase data on old phone and delete it from my devices on iCloud? Just concerned w security now, ready to walk away from old phone.

Apple says yes with the possible exception........If you have AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss, do not remove the device from Find My or your Apple ID.
