Bugs refer to flaws in the code of apps. If there are any, only Apple can fix the bugs in iOS. For third party apps, only the developer who created the app can fix them. Any third party apps you have installed on your iPhone 8 will transfer as is to the new phone. There's nothing you can do about that.

There are no viruses on iPhones. There's nothing to transfer.

That you might have bugs or malware is not something that can be addressed here.

iOS has had bugs.

Malware on current versions of iOS is quite rare, and has so far been targeted at specific people.

Got issues? We can either discuss those here and in far more detail, or you can move your files and let us know what happens.

I am having the same issue.

Which issue would that be?

Malware exists, but all current evidence indicates it’s targeted.

Bugs tend to be app or server specific, or sometimes some obscure, ominous, or scarily-worded stuff in a log..

So I should make a new Apple ID?

Generally, no.

There are cases when this would be preferable though, such as keeping a business and a personal,iPhone completely separate.

And just get a whole new phone pretty much?

You can start over with no apps transferred, or start over with apps and data transferred, or start over with no apps and no data and no linkage to an existing Apple,ID, or can get Family Sharing involved. Which is appropriate depends on your expectations, requirements, budget, and way more details on the issues here. For variousmof thenissues that have been discussed around the forums, moving to a new Apple,ID will have no beneficial effect. Particularly if the issue is not with the Apple ID.

If so I already have a phone but no service.

Cellular service is not required for transferring contents.

Do I just go to get a SIM card and service at Walmart if so what is best ones.

An iPhone 15 purchased in the US has no SIM slot. In the US, iPhone 15 is eSIM only. (Yeah, there are Walmarts located else-planet. En Chile, por ejemplo.)

What eSIM you acquire is up to you.

The “best” carrier (if there even is such a concept with cellular carriers) has a price you can afford, a level of service and support appropriate for your needs, and has cellular coverage where you use your iPhone.

Which carrier that might be depends on where you are located, among other details.
