Apple Brand iPhone Case Fading/Graying After 1 Week? Help?

I recently purchased a brand new iPhone 14 Pro, and, to protect it, I purchased this adorable Apple brand pastel lilac case directly from the Apple store. To my disappointment, the case started doing that annoying thing most silicone cases made of cheaper material do: graying/blackening, especially around the edges. I was surprised at this, considering the case was so expensive (about $50), and because it was barely a week into having the case that this started happening. Is there any way I can help this graying effect at all? I'm very very disappointed, and it looks gross, but I love the lilac color and don't want to bother buying a whole new phone case.
