hello, the side molding of my iPhone 14 pro max deep purple is all scratched. I only use an original leather case purchased from an official representative. my phone is one month old. this sucks for me. I am very angry. brand new phone with original leather case and scratch. only the side moldings are scratched from the original leather case

same thing on my 14 Pro Max in Space black, all the black coating seems to fade/ scratch up with the dust that gets between the case and the stainless steel, very disappointing.
the only way i could think of to remove these blemishes in the metal was to sand it down to bare stainless steel and maintain it (sides are silver now) i polish it from time to time.

So disappointed . My iPhone 14 pro is a week old and has been in a case only to find it has scratches and blemishes when I took of the cover 🥵
Same with 14pm black near the power button and to think i am using an original rhinoshield case ☹️ what is your remedy for this besides getting an upgrade?🫠

I have the same problem with my 14 pro in purple. It has a lot of scratches all aroud sides. It’s awful for such price

"This Warranty does not apply: (a) to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; (c) to damage caused by use with another product; (d) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause; (e) to damage caused by operating the Apple Product outside Apple’s published guidelines; (f) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider (“AASP”); (g) to an Apple Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Apple; (h) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Apple Product, or (i) if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Apple Product."
I’ve had my 14 Pro purple in a case since I got it in Nov 2022. Out of all my iPhones in the last 13 odd years - this one is covered in dust marks and blemishes - I’m really disappointed with the purple finish. None of my previous gold iPhones had this level or wear so fast.
