How to recover missing video and audio filters?

HI

I recently deleted an app and was told I could delete the Logic folder in Application Support and then redownload content. I did for GarageBand, but when I choose Download Additional Content for FCP it just opens System Preferences and checks for updates.

What can I do to recover my video and audio filters? I'd rather not but is deleting and reinstalling the only way?

What app did you delete? How did you delete it?

Simply moving FCP to the trash for instance doesn’t remove any of the other associated files or additional content.

If you need to add FCP Additional Content that is indeed down as a system download through System Preferences/Settings.

Hi Tom, Thanks for the reply.

Following the MainStage user guide, I moved MainStage to trash and deleted it, then the Logic folder by deleting Music Creation files.

I don't know why all my FCP video filters got deleted, I was hoping they could be reinstalled by downloading FCP Additional Content.

Is that where my video and audio filters are? All I know is that my video and audio filters are missing.

Where in System Settings could I download FCP Additional Content, I'm not seeing it?

Thanks again.
