The videos within my Photos Library no longer play or have the play button on them

To save space on my computer, I moved my Photos Library to an external hard drive by dragging and dropping my library into the hard drive. Everything copied over but when I clicked on my videos, they no longer play.

When I click on the "info" of the videos, it lists the time of the video and the file type so I don't think the file is lost but the videos look like photos, they are frozen.

I am at a loss of what to do, please advise!

The videos do appear in the video album and the FPS is listed as well as the duration of the video. The file type is HEVC. I just cannot play the videos

If your drive is properly formatted as Yer_Man describes, what happens when you go into Edit mode with your video? Does it show the little colored pictures?

Does it show video frames at the bottom of the Edit window? Can you edit the video at all?

What happens when you attempt to export, either "File>Export>Export nn Photos" or "File>Export>Export Unmodified Original?" Does the exported file work?

What are extensions on the videos? How long are they, 20 minutes or 20 seconds?
