iMessage not working on mac

Recently, my iMessage is not responding on my 2020 Macbook Pro. Every time I try to open the app, my laptop freezes, and I get a non responding error, forced to force quit, and then given the option to report it to Apple. I have restarted several times, and managed to logout of my iCloud on the app, and checked for system updates. No such luck.

Unable to fix Messages app crashing issue after upgrading to macOS 15.4.1 I upgraded to 15.4.1 today and my Messages app will no longer stay open. It's quit/poof/gone every time I go look. I've done a restart (both of the app and of the whole computer) and also synced with iCloud but it's still crashed dozens of times today since my update. I also can't seem to "search" within iCal anymore. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
