iPad keyboard

My iPad keyboard has not been working properly since the last upgrade. It covers the screen where I want to be typing, for example the place where I write a text to somebody. I can’t see what I’m writing even now. Anybody else? I’ve had this iPad since 2018.

iPad digital keyboard disappears after each symbol As I use a physical keyboard on my iPad I rarely need to use the digital one, unless I need to use special symbols not present on the physical version. However, when I click on the keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen, the keyboard appears just fine up until I click on it. It will write down the symbol I clicked on but immediately disappear and I have to keep clicking on the keyboard icon to make it big again and type symbol per symbol. iPad Screen keyboard fails to show up Often the keyboard does not show up, I Was trying to search email. Yes ai can reboot but this is most inconvenient and has NOT BEEN FIXED FOR SEVERAL YEARS. Ai did show up so it could fix the typing but no typing could be done since the keyboard did not come up. Nothing just works anymore. [Edited by Moderator]

iPad screen keyboard often does not work for some letters I have asked this before but can’t find the request. The screen keyboard on my wife’s ipad often is not responding to some of the letters. A shut down and start up again often helps but does not solve the issue. Have others found this problem? Any advice welcome [Re-Titled by Moderator]

On the on-screen keyboard, touch the keyboard-key at bottom-right of the keyboard - and slide your finger to Dock or Dock & Merge before lifting your finger from the screen

You should now have the full on-screen keyboard visible on the screen - and this will be anchored to the bottom of the screen.
