Exporting Font Book list?

Is it possible to export a list (via text file or otherwise) of all the fonts in Font Book, and if so how do I do it? I'm using High Sierra 10.13.6 with Font Book 8.0.

How does font management work on a Mac? On Windows 11, I have a simple font manager that simply activates and deactivates collections of fonts as I need them for each job. This is a pretty easy way of managing fonts that I only occasionally need without clogging up the system with hundreds of extra fonts. How do I manage something like this on Mac OS? So far, all the font videos on YouTube simply just install all the fonts they want into the fonts folder and Font Book simply displays them nicely. Surely there must be some way to turn on and off groups of fonts without adding them to the fonts folder? Can anyone help please?

Font Book Installation question Is there a way to install fonts directly into a collection instead of having install them first in the library and then drag them into a collection? I would love to be able to simply drag fonts from my desktop into a collection, but that doesn't seem to work. They automatically go into the font library and then I have to drag them into a collection. I've got the fonts I want to install categorized on my desktop and it would be so easy for me to simply select all the fonts in a certain category and drag them directly into a collection that I created in Font Book. Is there a way to do this?

Embedding Fonts in PDF Is there a way to embed fonts into a PDF that was created from a Pages document? I have Pages version 10.3.9. Working on an iMac Big Sur 11.6.5.

Fonts can be exported by selecting them, even a group, and clicking File > Export Fonts... and then selecting a destination. These will be found in an Exported Fonts folder at the destination.

You can print a list of fonts, including their examples, by selecting them from the list of installed fonts and clicking File > Print... (⌘P). If you wish to print this to .pdf, then select that option.

This printout can potentially be hundreds of pages long, so be aware.
