Apple Support tells me their engineers say you have to tap your watch screen while in Wayfinder to see your lat/long now instead of having all data on the main Wayfinder screen. No reason was given for this change. The Wayfinder face shown on Apple.com with lat/long on the orange ring along with a compass on the main screen is NO LONGER available, even though you can see it as an optional selection. There is NO reason why this was removed and is more than annoying.
I don't understand your post here. I have been using the Wayfinder Watch Face since Apple Watch Ultra was released on release day. And to see your longitude latitude, you have ALWAYS had to tap the circle to see it. You can leave it that way after taping it if you want it to remain on your face or you can tap it again to go back to hours or minutes when you don't need to see latitude/longitude.
In other words, nothing has changed since the Wayfinder was released from day one.
Am I missing something in what you wrote?
The picture you are showing is exactly what I get when I tap the circle on my watch face, if I have it set to Longitude/Latitude and it is exactly as it has been since the Wayfinder face was released on Apple Watch Ultra. Again, nothing has changed.
Ps: I didn't post a photo. The OP, iamsach posted the photo in the original post. That too is how the Wayfinder face should look until you tap the round bezel to show location.
I'm still clearly not understanding what the issue is here. Nothing is different or changed since the launch of Apple Watch Ultra and the Wayfinder face.
I should have asked you instead of spending time calling Apple. They never told me to tap anything. Following your direction, I now see the lat/long on the orange ring. Thanks for sorting this out.
Your photo is what I have on my watch. What I want and cannot get is what's shown in the attached photo from Apple's website: Apple tells me this face is no longer available.
Assuming you have chosen Latitude/Longitude as the measurement in the bezel, what happens when you tap the white bezel which is currently showing a 12 hour clock?
I'm glad to have helped you!
