cannot send or receive photos through imessage

Since updating my phone, I cannot send or receive any pictures through imessage. I have tried resetting, turning off and on Wi-Fi, different areas where I send and recieve (i.e home and work)

Photos won't send on iMessages So I've been having this problem where all my texts send fine, but when I send photos they all say message failed to send. Plus when other people send me images they come as a file I have to download, not like an actual photo. I've gone to my setting and looked around and everything looks normal to me. I haven't changed any of my setting and I have the newest update for iPhone already.

Can’t send or receive photos in iMessage I can’t seem to send or receive photos in iMessage. It shows up as an empty text field when I receive and as a weird pdf type thing when I send. That’s after it produces and exclamation ❗️ mark and days there’s an error sending my message. I tried resetting my phone. Bizarrely non iPhone users get what I send (I think). Any idea how to fix this annoying issue? I have updated software, too and toggled iMessage off and then on. 😑

Photos not delivered in text messages Hello all, Just yesterday I upgraded my phone to an iPhone 14 Plus. Today I have been unable to send photos in texts to various Android users. I’ve done all the troubleshooting that has been mentioned here and in every other article I can find………toggled off/on iMessage, MMS off/on, reset network settings, restarted phone multiple times, cellular data is on, everything is on and Phone is running 16.1.2 and nothing. Anyone have any other suggestions or tips I could try?

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
