M2 Pro Macbook Pro display flickers/flashes

My 16" M2 Pro 12/19 MBP 32gb/1tb display recently started to flicker/flash. I have rebooted, but that did not fix it. I ran Apple Diagnostics, but no problems: got back ADP000.

I have had this MBP for a couple of months and have had no problems until this problem suddenly started. A few days before this problem started I updated to Ventura 13.3.1 from 13.3. After the update there was no problem until a few days later when this flicker/flash problem started. Probably the 13.3.1 update is unrelated, but I thought I would mention it.

I have my MBP connected to 2 external displays (1920x1200 and 1920x1080) for the last 2 months and they do not flicker/flash. Only the MBP display has started flickering/flashing. Until a few days ago all 3 displays were fine. Previously I had these same 2 external displays connected to my previous M1 Mac Mini 16gb/512gb for a long time and there were never any problems.

Is my MBP display going out? There are no Apple stores within several hundred kilometers from me. Any ideas?

I found this earlier thread from someone else with the same problem. It was unresolved though. :-(

Troubleshooting a Flickering Mac Screen:

Perform a Screen Recording:

What happens when you record your screen? Do you still get this error? If so, then it is a hardware issue. If not, then it is an issue with an Open app or with the macOS. So, perform a screen recording, and reply back what happens when you try playing it. Go Here: Take Screenshots or Screen Recordings on Mac - Apple Support

"M2 Pro Macbook Pro display flickers/flashes: I shipped my MBP to Apple and I got it back late yesterday. The letter that came back with it says they replaced a couple of parts. I sure hope the problem does not return.

If you get issues, just call them back.

They replaced a couple of parts. That means it was a hardware issue. So, they swapped the hardware out. Keep on this case, should this occur again.
