I just did the latest update and can’t find settings for iBooks. I prefer to read with dark mode and the only setting I can find is text size or scrolling.
I have also activated dark mode from the main settings and that does not work as well. Thx!

After reading other comments, I deleted the app and reinstalled. I can now see the settings for themes for the majority of my books. There is only one book that I purchased that doesn’t allow me to adjust. I think it’s more of a pdf type download and maybe that’s why🤷♀️

Tap in the middle of the page to bring up box bottom right and select Themes & Settings.
This doesn’t work. It either “zooms” or brings up all of the pages of the book to select from along the bottom.
