I am waiting for a call from Apple support tech guys. This one went up the chain apparently and I'm freaking out a bit. I had over 1,000 notes I moved from the iCloud Notes to my Macbook Pro Notes so I could back them up onto a hard drive. Anyone else have this problem? Can't access Notes on Macbook Pro because it's grayed out?

NOTE: Apple is the best support I’ve ever had. I buy Apple because of their amazing support. I meant no disrespect by the looking at YouTube comment. I just caught and tried something extra.
I had my notes on iCloud but was worried about accidentally deleting them so I moved them to my Mac where they get backed up when I do my weekly backups to my back up system.
Sooo I went into notes settings and set default account to "On my mac" and it seems to work. I don't know. I just watched a YouTube video hahahahaha
Interesting...the only way I was able to get it to work so I could see the notes on both my iMac and iPhone was to set that to iCloud. Interesting yet weird!
Wait! I can only see it on my Mac. Can I see it on my Mac and iPhone? How do I do that??
