AirPods Pro 2 case battery not showing up in battery widget

my nee AirPods Pro 2 case battery is not showing in battery widget. I have done factory rest few times and checked but still the same. only while opening the lid I am able to see the percentage.

I've been experiencing the exact same thing with my 2nd Gen AirPods. They sometimes show in the battery widget if they are plugged in, however for the most part, after the firmware update they've been a little wonky that way.
