Automatic time zone not working

My alarm woke me up an hour early this morning. The reason, sometime during the night my phone decided it was in est (New York) and not cst (Chicago). I live in Wisconsin. I updated my phone to the latest iOS(currently 15.7.5). Find my locations are on. The maps work fine. Other apps that search for the nearest business work fine. Every time I switch to automatic time zone, my phone (6s) changes to New York.

I’ve tried with cellular and Bluetooth off and just internet on. I’ve tried with internet and Bluetooth off and just cellular on. No matter what I do, my phone wants to automatically adjust to eastern time even though the maps correctly place me in the Midwest. How do I fix this???

Thanks for your help
