external disk does not show on side bar in macOS 13.3.1
Hi. I have a macOS Ventura 13.3.1 on my MacBook Pro M1 2021. none of my external drives do not appear on the desktop or on the finder's sidebar.
Any hint on how to solve it?

Just to be sure: did you check in Finder->Settings->Sidebar that "External Disks" is checked?
If you did, then try deleting Finder preferences:
In Finder, press Command-Shift-G and paste
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
drag the file out of the folder, and to the Desktop, for example.
Force-quit the Finder, or log out and back in.
Set Finder settings the way you want them, and see if it works now.
