Apple Cash issue

We cannot send money to my son's Apple Cash, it states that he already has an account enabled. At one point he left the family group and lost his apple cash access. Since then we have no be able to re-setup his Apple Cash. Is there a solution to this?

Apple Cash Family Setup not working I‘ve been trying to setup a new Apple Cash account for my underaged child through Apple Cash Family. They used to have an Apple Cash Family account, but left Family Sharing a while ago and rejoined now. They now don‘t have Apple Cash activated, it does not show in Wallet and it is not listed as a payment method on their Apple ID. Still, when I try to set up a new account for them, it says „This person already has a Apple Cash Account“. Is there any way to close or access this old Apple Cash Account?
