My AirPods couldn't be verified, are they fake?
If it says not verified then is it definitely fake

Troubelshooting AirPods Mismatch:
A. Start here: If you see an alert that says "AirPods Mismatch" - Apple Support
B. Verifying Genuine AirPods:
C. A Glitch in Apple's Device Database?
I would contact Apple Support, asking them if there is a glitch in their user database. You should not be getting this message, if they have already been repaired. If these are used, then that may be why this is occurring.

Hey Cjoovalid,
There is a strong possibility that your AirPods are fake if Apple can not verify them. What firmware are you running on your AirPods? You can check by going into Settings >> Bluetooth >> Click on the (i) icon next to your AirPods >> Scroll down to the About Section and see where it says: "Version." The most resent firmware update is 5E133, but if your AirPods are on a version older then 5B59 then there could be a good possibility that your AirPods are not a genuine Apple product. :(
You can see how to update your AirPods here, and the different firmware updates that have come out: About firmware updates for AirPods - Apple Support (IE)
Hope this helps! It happens to the best of us man.
