Sharing location & would like to continue to do so.

Just for the record .. It doesn't matter where you share your location from .. I DO share my location from the Finder app and STILL get this annoying message every time I try to delete a text message to one of those people. I even have the Share My Location with Family members turned on.. This has been an issue for years now and I've yet to see a response from Apple support ..

Oh how I wish that were true, and this were an easy solution. Yet.... my shares have always been from the Find My app. And each time I delete an imessage thread, I'm asked if I want to stop sharing my location that that friend. I've stopped sharing. Deleted the thread, then shared again through the app. Many times. Same result.

I tried that, but the problem persists

If you shared your location from inside of messages, and you delete the message thread, this is normal. If you want to share it continually, regardless of whether you have any message threads with the person you want to share with, share your location from the Find My app instead.

This is still happening and is still very frustrating… every time, every text / iMessage I am asked if I want to stop sharing my location with those I have chosen to share my location with! I DO NOT! Does anyone have the knowledge and or a fix for this problem without joining the merry go round of advice or supposed help from some who simply do not comprehend the problem? Thank you.

This issue is still a problem and is extremely annoying. I get rid of messages daily but do NOT want to stop sharing my location in Find my Friends. One has nothing to do with the other. It’s too easy to miss the question of whether you want to stop sharing the location and click on yes. Also I don’t think the question always shows up.

if someone wants to stop sharing location they can do it directly in Find my Friends. Please STOP asking that annoying question everytOme you want to delete a message.

I am experiencing same problem with my wife’s text when I delete it. I share my location with other family members and I don’t get get that question.

Has anybody found a solution yet to this annoying issue?
