Wrist Pain 14" M2 MacBook Pro

Recently purchased a 14" MBP and it's killing my wrists. I'm a professional photographer and avid MacBook user for decades uploading and toning hundreds of thousands of photos using MacBooks and have never had wrist pain until these new 14 and 16 inch models. The new M2 laptops have a much higher profile creating very sharp edges. I switched back to my 15" MacBook and the pain subsided. It seems a common complaint of the new MacBooks that is usually met with lecturing about posture and ergonomics... I'm not looking for that ( and the MacBook Air can't handle my workload) but in the meantime has anyone found a solution to this ergonomic problem that doesn't require external keyboards/mouse or bulky wrist brace. Hope someone at Apple is listening to complaints about this design.
