You can provide product design feedback to Apple here: Product Feedback - Apple
Your typing position for longer than momentary use should give you a 'neutral' wrist position, with hands bent nether upward or downward.
If that does not happen naturally, you may need to lower your typing platform, or use a separate keyboard or a separate display or pointing device that can provide such a wrist position.
Keeping your wrists cocked is an invitation to Repetitive Strain Injury.

Proper hand placement will likely fix that issue.
Typing aids are available all over the internet. Amazon for instance: https://www.amazon.com/Computer-Accessories-Carpal-Tunnel/s?k=Computer+Accessories+for+Carpal+Tunnel
You problem may not be CTS, but the design will work for your issue. This is a recognized approach industry wide for such troubles.

I'm nearly 70 years old and love my Mac Book Pro... but the edges are a disaster and please bear in mind many people are too old to start re-learning hand typing positions. Also due to years of bad work position, I sit in a comfy chair, leaning back with the laptop (it's in the name) on my lap. This does cause badly sore wrists. A soft edge accessory would be brilliant
