Removing Hiya from my phone.

I have cancelled my Hiya subscription but it’s paid for through August 2023. Unfortunately deleting the app still does not stop the app from telling the callers I am not available. It then tells the caller to leave a message (which I don’t receive).

So, how do I completely remove Hiya from my iPhone 13 and get back to receiving my voicemails?

What happened to my “Visual Voicemail”? After updating to iOS 15 on iPhone SE, I noticed that my “Visual Voicemail” was missing and that I had to call a number to get into my voicemail messages. Talk about a throwback to the 80’s and 90’s, before Steve Jobs and Apple first introduced “Visual Voicemail! Want to get rid of voicemail option on Verizon iPhone 14 Pro Max I have Verizon iPhone 14 Pro Max and I have never ever set up voicemail because I just don’t like it. BUT with the new iOS 17 update providing (Live Voicemail) option allowed people to leave me voicemails even without me setting it up or even creating a password. SO, in order to clear/delete the voicemails people were able to leave now I had to set a voicemail password. I can’t find or figure a way to completely deactivate/cancel/NotAllow voicemail options. I called Verizon to see if they could shut down the option to leave voicemails but Verizon said they don’t have that option. And on YouTube there’s videos for putting in codes to call such as #004#or *#61# which doesn’t work and I dont have a call forwarding option in settings. Can someone, anyone help me?! That sounds like a really good question for Hiya. I suspect you may need to add the app back to your phone and do something through it but I couldn't begin to tell you what.

You might try looking in Settings>Phone>Call Blocking & Identification and seeing if it's listed there. If so, turn it off.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have searched on Hiya and have yet to find a phone # for support.
