Junk emails

I don’t know what I did but I’m getting junk emails day and night, please help

If you're trying to manage spam email with your iCloud email address here's a resource to help: Report and reduce spam in iCloud Mail


If you’re not using iCloud Mail, these are the steps to block them from being able to use the same email address again: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


You can also contact your email provider to look into what options are available for addressing junk mail.

I solved my same issue. This is what I did:


First go to Mail - settings - Junk Mail and deselect the box for "Enable Junk Mail Filtering".


  1. I erased (format) my Mac's Hard drive. If you have an Mx Mac, what you do is turn it off and then press and HOLD the power button until advised by the computer, and follow the prompts to ERASE the hard drive.
  2. Re-install MacOS 'fresh' NOT from back up!
  3. Re-install apps as needed


After that I stopped receiving junk in my inbox in the order of 98%. I have not yet re selected the "Enable Junk Mail Filtering"... I am testing still.
