CloudDocs Unable to remove files

There are files located on my iMac (located - Library - Application Support - CloudDocs - Session - Containers) that i cannot remove. Soon after deletion, they all re-appear within 1-2 minutes (unless i sign out of iCloud Drive).

These files seem to be related to apps that i had installed on my iPhone many years ago and no longer have e.g kayak, viber, hotelsnearme, movietube etc.....

I have searched endlessly in my iCloud Drive folders and they do not appear there.

Does anybody have any idea how to delete this and stop them from re-appearing?

Yes my iMac is synced with my iPhone. I have iCloud and iCloud Drive enabled on both iMac and iPhone.

But the files/apps that keep repeatedly showing in the CloudDoc folder on my iMac aren’t on my iPhone. I used to have them many years ago on an older iPhone.

I don’t understand why they are still appear on my iMac and reappear in minutes after deletion

I turned off sync on iPhone and kept iCloud Drive on my iMac.

Deleted the files in CloudDoc/containers. Few seconds, they reappear.

It seems the only way is to stop them from reappearing is to turn off iCloud Drive on my iMac. This stops them from reappearing on my iMac.

I don’t know where iCloud Drive is pulling these files from, as the apps aren’t no longer on my iPhone and they don’t appear in the documents folder within iCloud Drive either.

They're obviously stored somewhere, in the cloud I assume, but given the fact I deleted the apps from my iPhone years ago, I’m at a loss
