Hello. I turned on 'Sync Library' on my iPhone 12 and all my playlists have disappeared from my phone's Music library. I subscribe to iTunes Match but not Apple Music. I've restarted phone, checked that I'm signed in. The playlists do not show up on my other devices. I have checked my phone storage and it is fine. Please help.

Thank you for your quick response. I’ll answer your questions by numeral.
1.I read on an Apple Community response the answer to question similar to mine. It suggested checking storage on iPhone as lack of storage could be the problem.
2.Only thing I noticed when I opened Music on iPhone was that all the playlists disappeared.
3.I literally feel sick. Per your question, I checked my Mac music library and so many songs are missing! I also checked my “Home Sharing Library” and songs are missing from that. It also looks like only purchased music is now on my Mac - music I downloaded from dvd’s over the years are gone!
4.I shut off and restarted my phone.
5.I updated my phone to iOS 16.4.1
Please help. This is so distressing. And confusing. Thank you.
p.s. How did you know that my phone needed an update?

To clarify, does the issue continue after you updated your iOS? Updating the iOS and restarting the device are always great first troubleshooting steps.
At this point, if the issue continues, it would be best to contact Apple Support directly. They will be in the best position to support you.
