how to delete private browsing history but not normal

I want to delete private browsing info on my phone, but not any tabs or info in normal browsing mode. But I don't want to have to go through individual websites and X them out.

How to do it?

Hello QueryGuy1,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about Private Browsing. Nothing should be saved per: Turn Private Browsing on or off on your iPhone - Apple Support

"When you use Private Browsing, the details of your browsing aren't saved, and the websites you visit aren't shared with your other devices. Safari won't remember the pages you visit, your search history, or your AutoFill information."

If you need to clear history, then just clear the entire history: Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Thanks.

No, this misses the point (about which I may have been unclear).

I want to save my browsing history and open tabs in normal mode, while at the same time, closing all open tabs in the private mode.

The answer is this: when in private browsing mode, you do a “long hold “on the pages symbol. You will get a question asking if you wish to delete all the open tabs. This you can do, with no effect at all on what you have in terms of open tabs and browsing history in your normal mode.
