They use poor wording...

To turn off Do Not Disturb Mode on your iPhone, swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open the Control Center, then tap the button labeled "Do Not Disturb." Tap "Do Not Disturb" from the listed options to deactivate Do Not Disturb mode.
