Reset of remote does not work. Status light does not turn on.
Apple Remote is not working anymore. Tried all described steps. Remote does not respond, no status light.

- charge the remote for 30 minutes or more to a computer or to a power adapter in an AC socket,
- restart just the remote,
- pair the remote (again) to the Apple TV box,
- If you still need help after that, then contact the Apple Support staff.
No status light
The status light on the Apple TV box should be on, before trying to pair. It may not react to non-paired remotes when in sleep mode. Try disconnecting from power for a short while, then reconnect (step 2 in the document linked below). That should start up the Apple TV box without the use of a remote.
