My music library is exhausting the memory of my iMac. What's the best solution to move my iTunes library to an external drive? Is this the best option? What ssdi hard drive would you recommend? Is it possible to run the time machine with two separate drives?
iTunes or Music? You can normally move the whole library from one drive to another then option-start-iTunes/Music to reconnect to the library on the new path. See Managing your Mac media libraries - Apple Community for background.
