Continuity Issue - Camera not found on Google meet

Hi there!

It seems that I'm unable to use the iPhone continuity feature when using Google meet.

I have checked all the permission and connectivity (both in the mac settings and google settings)and nothing seems to work.

I am able to use it with zoom or facetime.

Is there something else that I can do?

Thanks!

Hi R_Gabriel!

Thank you for your advice! I have discovered that it will work if I use Google meet on Safari!

All the best,

Hey MariusSolis,

Apparently, this is expected behavior. We couldn’t locate a Google Meet app for Macs, so we did a bit of research and found this: Google Meet: Online Video Meetings and Calls | Google Workspace

Meet on any device, anywhere

Guests can join from their computer using any modern web browser—no software to install. On mobile devices, they can join from the Google Meet app. Guests can even join meetings and calls from Google Nest Hub Max.

If you’d rather use the app you located, you’ll need to contact the app developer to learn if they plan on including this feature at some point. Here’s how to reach out to them: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Take care.
