iPhone 13 Pro white screen issue after warranty period

I'm facing white screen issue on my 13 pro and contacted apple support.

They simply told me this is because hardware issue and display has to be replace but I have to pay for it.

The same issue has already been reported by many users and would like to know whether any plan for recalling defect product replace/ repair for free by apple.
