"Follow Up Suggestions" still annoying in Mail!!

Seriously, Apple, please deal with this issue. I continue to get old mail to the top of my Mail Inbox…I have turned OFF my “Follow Up Suggestions” in my Mail Settings. Stop sending me old emails!! I don’t CARE if the people don’t answer me. So frustrating to keep seeing these emails!!

Apple Mail Follow Up - not working (when I would like it to) A month or so ago, I started seeing certain emails to which I hadn't had an answer pop back up in my Inbox three days later. It was initially a bit disconcerting but, by and large, more useful than not. Then it just stopped. I have tried to reinstate it, without success. 'Enable Message Follow Up Suggestions' is ticked in Settings, but it isn't working. Most people seem to want to disable this feature, but I would actually like to make it work again! Thanks in advance for any advice with this.

Follow-up email will not stop!!! I see a zillion people asking how to turn this off and the only answers are to go to Mail Settings>General and not have "Enable follow up suggestions" checked. I do not, and have never, had it checked on my Macs or iPhone and yet I constantly get this and it is beyond annoying. I use my inbox as a to-do list and do not want emails showing up at the top that turn out to be some old email. There must be a way to stop this besides unchecking that box. Anyone else having this issue or know how to make this stop besides telling me to uncheck a box that is already not checked? (LOL) Thanks!

mail followup turned off, still get followup suggestions Hi - In Apple mail I unchecked the "Enable message followup suggestions" months ago but I still get past sent and unanswered messages appearing at the top of my inbox. When I right-click the message and select "ignore followup" the message leaves the top of my inbox, so mail is still giving me followup suggestions. This is really annoying. I've tried checking "Enable message followup suggestions", quitting mail, restarting mail and unchecking and quitting again. The old messages still show up. Anybody have a suggestion? This is happening in Ventura 13.3.1 (a) and a couple Ventura releases before that.
