My Wife has an iPad 6 and my Son is going to use her old iPad 2
at the moment all photos are being shared, she no longer w ants this to happen. how do we alter the settings ?

Are they shared because the two devices are signed into the same iCloud account? Make sure that the two devices (and owers) have different Apple IDs.
