Touch ID is missing from my settings
Since the Ventura update There is no Touch ID in my system preferences and there is no where to add a fingerprint. The fingerprint icon in settings is gone.. Help?

rule out a hardware issue—you run the user Diagnostic...not as definitive as Apple's own AST2 (Apple Service Toolkit) back bench diagnostic, but may kick out an error code.
