Keyboard clicks button is missing

I want to turn off keyboard typing sounds on my iPhone 11, but there is no “keyboard clicks” button in sound and haptics. (Only a keyboard feedback button)???

how do I fix this?

Keyboard click sounds missing on iPhone I did the software update to 18.3.1 (for iPhone 16 Pro). The software update turned off my keyboard clicks with no option to turn keyboard clicks back on. No such option available in settings > Sounds and Haptics. Software updates commonly change personally comfortable settings and leave no way to recover things the software updates changed or removed. One of Apple’s typical behaviors. Who wants to spend hours trying to fix something a software update did. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Disabling keyboard sounds on my iPhone post iOS 18.1.1 update I have turned off haptics and sounds in keyboard feedback and everywhere else. However, when writing a text message, the keyboard clicks with each key stroke. I have rebooted my phone. Is this a result of a bug in the recent IOS update? Are there any other troubleshooting options? I do not want my phone to make any sound when I am typing at any time in any app. Thanks in advance for your help! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities!

If you want to turn off the keyboard sounds on your iPhone, you can turn that off in Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Keyboard Feedback, and disable "Sound".
