Mac Studio - Spinning Beachball

I've got a Mac Studio, M1 Max chip, Ventura 13.2.1, 32GB Ram. When it works, it's great. But I have wasted sooo much time dealing with spinning beachballs. My main program is Lightroom Classic. When new I was on Monterrey, and I had frequent beachballs with Lightroom. I had assumed that it was just going to be temporary, since the chip was new tech, and LR was updated to run on the M1. I also had occasional Finder beachballs, but also assumed that this would be improved with software upgrades. So now I'm on Ventura, and I spend half my day either waiting for the beachballs to go away, or if they don't I need to force restart. This is making me crazy. Is anyone else having this beachball nightmare?
