Whats the best way to charge my M1 MBPro battery, if i want it to last longer? The MBPro will be working as a desktop computer, so im gonna be using it for long periods of time. Can i have it always on the charger, and if so, might that be harmfull for the batteries longetivety??

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.

I would not advise third party interference. No it is not needed. I do not know how else to say it.
BHM software is not static, it is dynamic.
It is detrimental to "keeping the charging levels no more than 80% "... that is not how optimized charging works on the macOS...
