Safari issues with iOS 16.4?

Hi there!

Is your access to Outlook.com affected by the 16.4 update?

For me, since I updated the iOS, I cannot handle my mail Outlook.com using Safari...

Sometimes I can see the new email, but cannot open it. Sometimes I cannot delete messages. I need to log in more than once to do a reading or deletion. Sometimes I can see just a blank page.

I decided to install Chrome and compare. No issues with the rival browser...

Definitely, something is happening between Safari 16.4 and Outlook.com...

In my case, Gmail (web version), comes up fine. Just to highlight, I am referring to Safari on iPhone - I posted here by mistake...

It never happened before (issues with Outlook.com). I want to believe this is related to the recent update to 16.4 iOS, but only Apple can confirm it.

Like Sam…same thing happens when I am using outlook.com.live web version. Everything happens intermittently. I.e.,Websites takes forever to load, some emails can be opened intermittently, some emails just open with the subject line and the message part just displays a blank white page, some emails just stuck on loading. Seriously need to get this fixed. I am sure we’d all appreciate a speedy fix on this issue ASAP. Thx

And something is also happening between Safari 16.4 and Gmail.

PLUS I cannot see any images on Facebook!!

We can only hope Apple comes up with a fix ASAP!!

Thank you - I have solved the issue - somehow I had inadvertently clicked on “Disable Images” under the Safari Develop menu.

Feel quite foolish!! :-)

Yep, sorry - was not too clear on that - it was the images not being visible.

As an update: it seems the issue can be solved by switching off and on the phone... I will keep an eye on these basic steps in case it happens again.

Nope!

It didn't work after opening a new browser session...

After update to 16.4.1 issue is still visible.

I've got 16.4.1 already and no fix for that issue...

Have you detected the same behavior somewhere else other than Outlook.com?

I tested the usual attempt to access Outlook.com on a new iPhone: same behavior. Is there any serious channel to make Apple devs clearly aware about the issue?
