Copying from numbers and pasting to pages does not work

I have just updated my MacBook and am unable to copy from numbers to paste on pages. I have searched for other cases of this and have found that I am able to paste into notes and then copy from that into pages but this is time consuming. Is there anything I can do to rectify this issue?

Writing Tools feature not appearing on my MacBook Pro after macOS 15.1 update I have a MacBook Pro 2020 with M1 chip and just upgraded to Sequoia 15.1. I have played around on Safari a bit and the new features are there. Now I am trying to use Writing Tools, but it is not found anywhere. Specifically in notes, there is no icon and if I select text and right click, it does not appear there either. Any ideas? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You must have a Pages table inserted with single-click on the first cell where you paste the clipboard contents from Numbers. Pages will autoexpand the table to accommodate the new columns and rows from the Numbers content.

Not all cell formats in Numbers are supported in Pages.
