My macbook won't go beyond Catalina. Where can I find a reliable source for a legacy Garageband?

Older version of GarageBand I upgraded from an older MacBook Pro to a new MacBook Air and have had nothing but problems. I still have the MacBook Pro, which is running Big Sur, but when I cleaned it out the GarageBand app was deleted. Is there any way to find and download an older version of GarageBand that will run in a 2014 MacBook Pro running Big Sur? If so I'll simply go back to the old computer for music production.

If you’ve previously “purchased” GarageBand, check your previous purchases list in the Mac App Store.

Thank you so much. I forgot that the App Store might send me to "the last compatible version." According to it, I got GarageBand in 2017! Wow! Time flies when you're an old man.
