ICloud Notes Tabbing Broken in Browser

Tabbing in the Notes app with a bullet list creates a sub-bullet list that is indented. Shift+Tab removes one level of bullet indentation.

In Chrome, Safari, and Firefox (which won't even render the text correctly), typing Tab in a bulleted list introduces a sublist (by increasing indentation), but also sends a Tab to the text being written. For example, rather than the following expected behaviour (where █ represent the cursor), the native application has the following behaviour:

  • Parent list

In the browser version, the Tab is caught and transmitted (indenting the text) to the text field as follows:

  • Parent list

A Tab character ("\t") is sent to the Note's text buffer. This is a UI bug. I kindly request a bug report be filed. Shift+Tab works as expected in browser.
