I updated my iPad to IOS 16.4 yesterday. Today, my App Store updates do not request a password. In the previous version, I always needed a password. My settings are set to always need a password.
When downloading an app, the password is requested as normal. Any clues anyone? Is this a bug?

You’re in the right place - and the clue is in the wording…
A Password can be required for Purchases - not Updates. 🙂

In the Media and ITunes Purchases, it is set to require a password inside the Apple ID name, in View Account, and the Settings show how quickly I want my password to take effect.
