Screen refresh rate issue after updating to Ventura 13.3

After updating to Ventura 13.3, when I change screen refresh rate it doesn't apply.

It seems to be locked at 60 Hertz.

I tried to reinstall macOS but the problem still exists.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.3

Hello Sadiq904,

We would like to see how we can help you with your screen refresh not updating as expected. Simply using safe mode may resolve this issue. What we need to do is see if the problem persists during safe mode. Here are the steps we’ll need to take to do so: How to use safe mode on your Mac

"Apple silicon

  1. Shut down your Mac.
  2. Turn on your Mac and continue to press and hold the power button until you see the startup options window.
  3. Select your startup disk, then press and hold the Shift key while clicking “Continue in Safe Mode.”
  4. Log in to your Mac. You might be asked to log in again.

Intel processor

  1. Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key as your Mac starts up.
  2. Release the key when you see the login window, then log in to your Mac.
  3. You might be asked to log in again. On either the first or second login window, you should see ”Safe Boot” in the upper-right corner of the window."

After the device boots into safe mode, try to reproduce the problem. Knowing whether or not the problem persists in safe mode will provide valuable insight as to how deep the problem may be rooted.

If safe mode does not work, or the restart after a successful boot into safe mode does not work, please contact us back with the results so we can troubleshoot further.

Cheers!
