Xcode Installation

After downloading Xcode from the App Store, I am unable to move to the installation step. The download bar shows the process isn't finished but reads 7.76 of 7.76 GB regardless.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.6

Its a monster so give it time to install even after it reports 7.76 / 7.76 downloaded.

It should not take more than an hour and more likely less than a half hour. All depends on the network health between you and Apple Servers.

Never install Xcode from the App Store. Always download it directly from the Developer site.
