Can't connect Alexa Echo to Apple Music due to Geographical issues?

I am trying to connect an Alexa Echo Speaker to my Apple Music account but am unable to do so due to "Geographical issues". My Apple Music account is based in New Zealand but I am in the U.K at present where I bought the speaker. This service is available in both countries but is there a way I can connect while overseas? Apple Music N.Z works fine on my phone while I am travelling? Any help appreciated.

Hello Drumnut44,

If you'd like to play Apple Music with Alexa, you can learn how to get that set up here: Play Apple Music with Alexa - Apple Support

We think you'll find these steps helpful:

Set up Apple Music with Alexa
1. Open the Amazon Alexa app.
2. In the lower-right corner, tap More.
3. Tap Skills & Games.
4. In the upper-right corner, tap the search field, then enter Apple Music.
5. Tap Enable To Use.
6. Tap Settings.
7. Tap Link Account.
8. Follow the instructions to sign in with your Apple ID. Get help signing in with two-factor authentication.

If you're still unable to get this setup, we recommend that you contact Official Apple Support for more help.

Thanks.
