Two party authentication

Had two party authentication set up on ipad to verify using another ipad. Second ipad is no longer in existance. How can I do something to change the method for authentication?

If the iPad that you still have is a trusted device you can use it to manage your trusted phone numbers. It is a good idea to have more than one trusted number. They can be iPhones, Androids, landlines, relatives, friends.

Any other Apple devices you have are automatically trusted devices if you sign into your Apple ID after two-factor authentication was turned on for it. See the following for more information on trusted phone numbers and trusted devices: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support
