Gmail Email Sent Via Mail Stuck in Outbox on Mac Ventura 13.3 (22E252)

How can problem with attempts to send email via Mail, using gmail account, getting stuck in outbox on Mac be corrected? Possibly coincidence, but problem started after originally updating to Ventura macOS and continues to current update to v. 13.3 (22E252).

Gmail Stuck in Outbox in Apple Mail I can't send gmail from my account thru apple mail today because I get an error message as follows: "LoginFailed Enter the Password for the [gmail account you are using]. Google requires completing authentication in your web browser. [Click on] 'Cancel' or 'Open Safari.'" I have tried many things. Nothing works so far. (I use Catalina.)
