Can I see my existing classical music library in the Classical app?
I've spent two decades curating my music library. What changes do I need to make to see that library in the Classical app?
iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 16

Hello DaveSofNJ,
Apple Music Classical is a dedicated app thatʼs designed specifically for classical music. If you have an Apple Music subscription, Apple Music Classical is included.
The related article you referenced, Apple Music Classical - Apple Support, has the following details:
Can I see my entire Apple Music library in the Apple Music Classical app?
You can access only classical music from your Apple Music library in the Apple Music Classical app.
So with an Apple Music subscription, you should be able to see your Classical music in the Apple Music Classical app.
Thanks.
Thanks, but how do I mark-up my library so that the new app knows which are the classical tracks?
I had, since posting my request, come to the opposite conclusion. The new app provides a reasonably well thought-out and somewhat easy to use interface to the classical music in the Apple Music catalog but doesn't care nor have any interest in my Apple Music library.
But your quote from that Apple Support article suggests otherwise, so I shall continue to wonder how, for example, I am supposed to mark up the tracks on my monthly BBC Music Magazine CDs when I rip them to make them known to be "Classical Music".
