Downgrading HomeKit back to old architecture

I upgraded Homekit to new architecture after installing iOS 16.2 on my iPhone. Unfortunately, my wife's iPhone is too old to accept iOS 16 and her Home application is now no more compatible with my home HomeKit configuration. Is there a means to downgrade Homekit back to old architecture ?

If there are devices running older OS it will warn before the upgrade. Once done it is not possible to downgrade. You can try contacting Apple to see if there is anything else you can do.
